June 18, 2008Cobra Starship, We The Kings, The Secret Handshake...Cobra Starship, We The Kings, The Secret Handshake (Oklahoma City - Diamond Ballroom - June 15th, 2008) The Secret Handshake did an awesome job! Luis got the crowd revved up and dancing which made the night start off right! Luis has mad skillage, I pretty much love The Secret Handshake now! I am glad I got to meet Luis, he is a rad guy, we totally shared a high five, totally effin awesome I might add, he is bomb! We The Kings, as always, bring it, and they made the crowd really move and get into their music, plus they were having fun playing which made the crowd have a blast too! It was awesome too that the band came out and talked with peeps, meeting them was great, they really are nice guys! Cobra Starship was BOMB BABY! Gabe got me high with his mad dance skills and singing, Ryland with his humor and height, Alex with his guitar shreddage, and Nate with his drum skillage got the beat bouncing throughout the night! Vicky-T was great too, of course! It was interesting especially when some chicks in the front row got into a cat fight, crazies! Meeting Gabe, Alex, and Ryland was totally sweet action, even though I like totally frowze for some reason, but at least I talked to them still and didn't like say nothing, I realized I liked them more than I thought, so freakin awesome meeting them, and I asked Ryland how tall he was, he is 6'5", he asked me how tall I was, I am 5'7", random I know, but hey it was funny at the time, and random is what I do, ask anyone that knows me, it more fun that way!
Peace out my lovelies! ~ Tiffanee

February 24, 2008Linkin Park, Coheed and Cambria, Chiodos..."Linkin Park's U.S. Arena "Minutes to Midnight" Tour 2008" I am seeing Linkin Park's U.S. Arena Tour this weekend on 2/29/08, and I am pretty stoked, I have been a fan of Linkin Park's music since Hybrid Theory was released back in 2000, I remember the first time I heard them on the radio, the song was "Crawling" and I was blown away by the power of the music and I found the lyrics were also deep/moving, Linkin Park rocks and I have been a fan ever since, it has been 8 awesome years of fanship and I am sure I will continue loving their music until the very end, the openers of the tour are Coheed and Cambria, and Chiodos, so it is gonna be a great show, hopefully I can get some sweet shots which I will post later, until then peace out!
This just in (post concert)... I HAD A BLAST, the Linkin Park show rocked the shit outta the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, I loved every second of their performance! I got a VIP wristband (awesome) and got to be in the pit (crazy fun) because of a sweet ticket I had and thus was able to be pretty damn near the stage which rocked! As soon as Linkin Park started the WHOLE pit rushed forward and I was moshing and helping people crowd surf before I knew it, and all the injuries I sustained was being kicked in the back of the head, sore feet from being stepped on and stepping on people, and a bruise and scratch on my arm, haha, plus I almost broke my glasses, I lost half an earring and I got some water splashed on me by Mike (totally awesome by the way), but hey after all it's a freaking rock show, and I FREAKING ROCKED it out and had so much fun with Linkin Park!!! The "Minutes to Midnight" Tour 2008 is one not to be missed, if Linkin Park tours again this year, I AM SO THERE!!! ~ Tiffanee

January 27, 2008RIP Heath Ledger...HONORING Heath Ledger... Rest In Peace, the colors of the rainbow we can reminisce on and think about a man who expired far too young in life, we must keep our heads held high in this terrible loss, I was very sad when I heard the news of his passing and will always miss him, I send my strength to his family, he was a great talent that will always be remembered! Also, I would like to personally make a statement by saying thank you to Daniel Day-Lewis for donating his Screen Actors Guild Award to Heath Ledger, Daniel Day-Lewis is a great and incredible man, and an amazing actor too, I hope to shake hands with this man and speak with him one day in my lifetime, I would cherish the moment!

October 27, 2007FallOutBoy/GymClassHeroes/PlainWhiteT's/CuteIsWhatWeAimForPlace: Event: The Young Wild Things Tour featuring Fall Out Boy with Gym Class Heroes, Plain White T’s and Cute Is What We Aim For Experience: AWESOME So, I am going to begin at when I arrived at the venue! After parking my car, I went straight to the box office to pick up some Overcast Kids wristbands for Early Entry and Meet and Greet, and waited in line for people I knew to show up! I met a lot of cool people standing in line too, it is awesome how music can bring people together, and I love it! The cool thing about early entry was that I was able to go straight to the merchandise table and get what I wanted, thereby avoiding long lines only to finally get to the table and find out that the item you wanted sold out or your size is gone, so that was cool, I got a tour shirt and I love it! The meet and greet with Fall Out Boy took place before the show started, and it was fantastic, they seemed genuinely happy, and I made sure not to be nervous and to talk to them all, which I did, thank goodness, and because of that, here is a short conversation I will never forget that I had with Patrick about the picture of FOB I brought for them to sign… [Patrick: “I look so emo in this picture…” Me: “Nah, you look good!” Patrick: Shrugs/Nods/Smiles] So it was a brief moment, but nonetheless, it was awesome! After pictures with FOB, and getting to put my arm around Joe, SCORE, me and some other people left for the show to start! It started at - Tiffanee

September 30, 2007TheAcademyIs.../ArmorForSleep/TheRocketSummer/SherwoodFriday September 28th, 2007 - I awoke excited knowing that by the end of the day I was going to be at The Sleeping with Giants Tour and also getting to meet and greet the headliners The Academy Is..., I barely paid any attention in class (spaced most of the time) and left school really quickly to get ready for the show, which it was a fantastic show by the way!!! Jumping all the way to when we arrived at the venue, I saw Jack the Camera Guy standing in front of the doors to the Cains Ballroom in Tulsa, Ok and was ready to ask him what was all going down for the meet and greet, first though I never imagined how cute and nice this guy was going to be, I mean for real he is so down to earth, a really cool guy, after chatting for abit he gave my friends and I our wristbands after making sure we were on THE LIST, and we waited in line and got into the venue when the doors opened up, sweet! I ran to the merch table to get a tour shirt before anyone else since we were nearly in the front of the line, so the crowds weren't around yet, so I got that done fast! The bands that played were Sherwood, The Rocket Summer, Armor for Sleep and The Academy Is..., Sherwood and The Rocket Summer were pretty good, The Rocket Summer has a sound that I am digging, and Armor for Sleep really rocked the house, I was pleasantly surprised, there was alot of crowd surfing which is always fun, and The Academy Is... of course was AMAZING, they are sooo good live and really great people which brings me to the meet and greet!!! The meet and greet was AMAZING! Jack took us back to the dressing room between Sherwood and The Rocket Summer, so we didn't miss much, they are some of the nicest people I have ever met! I was so excited I think I saw everyone twice, hehe, first was Adam T. Siska, then Andy "The Butcher" Mrotek, then Michael Guy Chislett, then William Beckett, and then Mike Carden, it was one of the best meet and greets, for real, they are really cool people and so cute in person, they actually were willing to talk with you too which made me LOVE THE BAND even more, sweet bunch of guys, really fun, and I will always remember when William tapped me on the shoulder to say something and then dropped his sharpie, he is so cute, everyone join the fanclub and be a Santi's Little Helper like me and you may have a chance to meet and greet these awesome guys backstage too, I will post pictures as soon as I can, oh how I will miss hugging them! After the meet and greet my friends and I went back to the crowd and worked our way back up to the front row, as best we could, trying to avoid being punched, haha, anyways, we saw Armor for Sleep and they were awesome, but the moshers got me and attacked and so scratched me up abit but I am not mad because that is all part of the fun of going to concerts, and I knew that The Academy Is... was coming up fast! The Academy Is... performance was great! The sounds, the lights, the movements, everything was really cool and great and fantastic and yea just really awesome! The Sleeping with Giants Tour was really fun and I recommend if it is coming to a city near you to go and check that shit out, for real, you will have a blast, I got some sweet video too, this show was really what I needed this weekend, it totally made my month so much better, so awesome, go check it out if you can, RIGHT NOW!!! SANTI LOVE!!! - Tiffanee

July 11, 2007PapaRoach/MadinaLakeTuesday July 10th, 2007- I arrived at the Cains Ballroom in Tulsa, Ok about an hour before doors, I was really pumped to rock out to Failsafe, Madina Lake and Papa Roach! Doors were at 7, I picked up some merch and got a drink soon after, and the show started at 8! Failsafe (aka Violence To Vegas) was first and they are a homegrown band from Tulsa, I have heard their music on Z104.5 The Edge, Tulsa's rock alternative, my favorite radio station in Tulsa, and thought they were good, well there performance caused a near riot, I mean it was just the first song down and there was crowd surfing and mosh pitting almost INSTANTLY, it was wicked fun, Failsafe did a great job I was pleasantly surprised with their performance! Then it was Madina Lake next, I am already a fan of theirs so going into the concert I was expecting to really rock out when they came on, they were so awesome, I got some video of them performing, they did great, they had these balls filled with confetti that was thrown into the crowd and people were hitting them all around the venue and everytime one popped confetti went everywhere, it was cool, and it was awesome also because Nathan came to the side of the venue I was closest too and he gets up on these huge speakers and is telling everyone to crowd in, well once there were aton of people crowded close with their hands in the air, me right in the middle of them, he jumps in and LANDS OF MY HEAD, it was so sweet, I then pushed his stomach up and he went crowd surfing, so cool, and after the concert I was able to meet them and get an autograph from Matthew, they are really sweet to their fans, I am so glad I finally got to see them live! Then last but not least it was Papa Roach, they were AMAZING, I was going freaking nuts jumping around because I am a huge fan of theirs too, they played so many songs, I also made it a point to jump up and down everytime Jacoby was talking to the crowd so he would look at me, and IT WORKED, Jacoby was talking about doing some old school songs of theirs and I screamed and jumped up and down because I got pretty close to the front row and stage and he looks at me and is smiling, EYE CONTACT, I could have MELTED he is so HOT, it was awesome, plus I was on the side of the venue where Jerry was playing that night and he is so freaking HOT, everytime he came close to the audience, I freaking jumped up and down and made some EYE CONTACT with him also, and I could have swore that Jerry kept looking in my direction, maybe it was just wishful thinking, haha, but it seemed like he was, maybe I was going crazy enough that they noticed, SCORE, I also loved it when they smiled at us they have great smiles, but they can get really hardcore too and that made them even more rockstar sexy, they were so kickass, I got some video of Papa Roach performing too! It was such a fun night, I cannot wait to go back to the Cains Ballroom for the next rock show, my ears are still ringing and I can still smell beer and pot, like whoa!!! - Tiffanee

May 14, 2007FallOutBoy/TheAcademyIs.../CobraStarship/+44/PaulWallSaturday May 12th, 2007 - I awoke at 5:30 am wide awake and ready to drive from Tulsa, Ok to Kansas City, Ks to a night I will never forget!!! First though, packing was quite difficult actually, even though I was only staying one night in Kansas, I was just paranoid that I would lose something or forget something, so it took me awhile to get done packing, when that was finally done, I tried sqeezing in some sleep, which amounted to only 4 hours, but that was enough for me! I then hit the road with a friend, Sheridan, we grabbed some starbucks and were on our way to the 2007 Honda Civic Tour in Kansas City! We listened to all of Fall Out Boy's albums and were really starting to get pumped and excited, not only to see a sweet performance by Fall Out Boy but to MEET and GREET Fall Out Boy, that is right boys and girls, I entered a contest on the Overcast Kids website and I won passes, but I will get to that more later! So we cross from Oklahoma into Kansas and I swore there must have been like 50 highway squashed armadillos and plenty of farm land with grazing cows, so we pretty much just listened to music on the drive up, when we reached our hotel, we checked in, got a free upgrade because I guess the front desk guy liked us and had about 6 hours to spare before the show began at 6 pm, so we just went out around town grabbed a bite to eat and came back to the hotel and got cleaned up and dressed for the show! We decided to leave at 4 pm, thinking that 2 hours before doors was good enough, WRONG, there was already a line from the entrance of the Verizon Wireless Center backed up to the highway, but like 30 minutes later we were parked and waiting in a long long long line, thousands of people were there, when we got about 25 feet from the door, I ran to the Box Office to pick up the OCK meet and greet wristbands and got back in line for my ticket to be processed and padded down so I wasn't bringing in any weapons of mass destruction! After we got into the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre we were instructed to wait by the Fall Out Boy Honda Civic car for the meeting instructions! About 30 minutes later, Charlie came and got us and we formed a line by the backstage fence, we then formed a line into a tent and we got to have one thing signed, Patrick was very sweet and talkative, Joe was so freaking cute and nice, Andy was really cool, and Pete was really kind, I wish I would have said more, but it was all kinda quick, then we formed another line and we got group pictures with them, I stood between Patrick and Joe and put my arms around them and my hands on their waists, yea it's not everyday you get to do something like that and let me just say that even though it was only for like 5 seconds, it will be 5 seconds I will always remember and Joe especially, I could have my arm around him all day, I think if you haven't noticed by now he is my favorite, I love them all though in their own special way! Charlie took the pictures and he said they would post the pictures online, so as soon as I get them, I will post them in my pictures section, along with other concert pictures I took as soon as I can get them developed! So after that, I guess you can say I was "Infinity on High", haha, like that, yea me too, so we went to our seats and watched a cool performance by Cobra Starship, I now have "Snakes on a Plane" officially stuck in my head! I also thought I saw Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson walking backstage, who knows really, but I am pretty sure though! Gabe Saporta from Cobra Starship came out to sign things and give pictures but the line was way too long, plus I was still overjoyed about my meeting, although quick but very memorable, with Fall Out Boy! Then Paul Wall came out to perform next and since I am not a rap and hip hop fan so much, rock is my thing, this is when I decided to go and get a drink, because it was so freaking hot, and some merchandise, by the time I was done, we got in our seats to watch The Academy Is...'s performance, and William Beckett and company were so good, their performance was HOT! Santi! Next was +44's performance and I thought their set rocked, Travis Barker is a beast on the drums, I have never seen anyone play like that before, he rocks, and Mark Hoppus was so freaking funny, he said that "He had a confession to make, he hadn't showered in 3 days and smells", he is awesome! Now, to Fall Out Boy's performance, I was expecting it to be sweet, but I had never imagined it to be SO FUCKING AWESOME, it was such a great spectacular performance, they played SO many songs, newer ones and older ones, and they also covered the Michael Jackson song "Beat It", it was sweet, they played 19 songs: Thriller, Grand Theft Autumn, Sugar We're Going Down, Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name, Of All The Gin Joints, Hum Hallelujah, I'm Like A Lawyer With The Way, Beat It (Michael Jackson remix), A Little Less 16 Candles, Tell That Mick He Just Made My List, I Slept With Someone In Fall Out Boy, One & Only (Timbaland song), Carpal Tunnel of Love, Golden, This Ain't A Scene, Encore: Thnks Fr The Mmrs, The Take Over The Break's Over, Dance Dance, Saturday. The show had fire and confetti and beach balls and sweet lighting effects and amazing graphics on giant screens and killer sounds, and during Dance Dance, Pete and Joe appeared in the middle of the audience, it was rad, and I also thought it was cute when Pete said that SpiderMan 3 sucked and that he was looking forward to the new Harry Potter coming to the movies, the whole concert basically was fucking amazing!!! I could go on and on, but this was just a review of the night, it must be an amazing feeling playing to thousands of people like there was in the crowd that night, Fall Out Boy ROCKS!!! - Tiffanee
